Christian co-founded LendInvest in 2008, where he was CEO for 12 years. LendInvest is now a profitable fintech that has c.£3.5 billion of funds under management and revenues approaching £100m a year. LendInvest successfully IPO’d on the London Stock Exchange in mid-2021. Faes & Co remains a major shareholder and Christian is Chairman of the board.
Christian has been actively involved in setting up and building companies such as Onate in Ireland, and a bitcoin mining farm in the US; and been an early stage investor in a range of other technology and financial services companies.
Christian founded and chairs the UK’s Fintech Founders group, and has been an advisor to the UK government on fintech.
Originally from Australia, Christian was previously a magic circle lawyer and in-house legal counsel at a global investment bank in London.
