Sofie Blakstad is CEO of hiveonline, building better economies for African farming communities and author of Fintech Revolution: Universal Inclusion in the New Financial Ecosystem. She is a respected authority on blockchain, CBDCs, digital assets and economics and advises international organisations including the UN, NGOs, Central Banks and commercial banks. She chairs the FI and Fintech Industry Advisory Committee for the Edinburgh Futures Institute. Prior to founding hiveonline, Sofie built financial technology and businesses for eight major international banks in over 60 countries.
