Yichen Wu is the founder and CEO of Tesseract.
For investors, Tesseract enables owners of digital assets to earn yield with our innovative suite of yield products, safeguarded by our proprietary risk engine and 3rd party custody.
For borrowers, we extend credit in digital assets with our innovative lending technology that optimises capital efficiency, streamlines processes, and increases trust.
We also provide retail platforms and institutional custodians innovative API-based yield and lending products to attract and retain customers, generate additional revenue, and enable focus on their core business.
Yichen holds an MSc in Finance from the Helsinki School of Economics. Yichen has worked with leading consulting, technology, and finance companies, including Boston Consulting Group, Microsoft, and Nordea. Yichen founded his first start-up, EntoCube, to develop automated farming technology and mass-producing insects for human consumption. So far, EntoCube has gone through 4 rounds of financing and raised almost $800,000 in funding.
Yichen founded his second company, Tesseract, in 2017. Tesseract became one of the few regulated virtual asset service providers in Finland and secured one of the largest Series A funding rounds in Finland.
